The 16th Annual Duke Of Fluke Tournament, which took place at Amityville Beach was the most successful one yet. With a whopping 460 anglers and 143 boats competing for the grand prize of $25,000. Following the weigh in, the winners were announced and the prizes were distributed. The event also included the “Junior Division” as well as over 100 raffles (donated by local businesses) and free burgers and hot dogs. Representatives from “The Fisherman” were present to verify the accuracy of all fish weights. The presence of both families and fisherman made this year’s tournament a hit.
